Professionally trained, Jamie Carter has played roles from ‘The Monarch Soldier’ in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales to ‘Peter’ in The Bureau of Magical Things. While also upholding a role as the ‘Jock’ from The Family Law in 2017. Without regard to his extensive knowledge and experience upon acting on stage numerous times for Shake & Stir, Jamie has also accomplished roles within the musical theatre industry playing the role of ‘Franklin D. Roosevelt’ in the Coomera Anglican College production of ‘Annie’ the musical.
Carter has worked with extensive training associations, such as ‘The Warehouse’, ‘The National Institute of Dramatic Arts’ and ‘The Australian Film and Television Academy’ over the course of eight years.
Carter is currently involved in the production of The Bureau of Magical Things, originated from the well-known Jonathan M. Shiff, playing the role of the male lead, ‘Peter’. The Bureau of Magical Things is an Australian television programme for children and teenagers. The show launched on channel eleven, early July, 2018, and has had major successes across the country.
Carter is well known for his positive attitude and productivity on set. He takes initiative with his roles and goes above and beyond to ensure he is performing to the best of his ability. Carter holds the ability to perform several different accents - some of those include standard and Southern American. He is involved in many sport activities which not only enables him to fit characters of the same qualifications, but to also work well in a team.
